Flower Scenery

The children were allowed to use any medium for this activity, and their only instruction was to make a floral scenery.

Materials:

  • Construction paper/ felt
  • String
  • Tissue paper
  • Markers
  • Glue

Ice cream Cones

For this activity, the children used paper cones and paper cups. They hot glued the paper cups upside down onto the paper cones. Next, they hot glued the felt over the paper cup to create the look of the ice cream. Then, they glued on their pompoms for the cherries!

Hand Print Tulip

For this activity, the children will trace their hands on construction paper and cut it out. Next, they will use a pencil to roll the fingers of the construction paper down to create the look of the petals. Next, take another piece of construction paper of any colour and roll it into the shape of the stem. Tape both pieces to each other to create the flower and it is complete!
