Jack O Lanterns

For this activity, the children will paint on paper with a fork to create texture. Then, have them cut out their eyes, mouth, and nose for the jack-o-lantern. Once the paint is dry, glue the pieces onto the paper and have the children cut out their Jack O Lanterns in whatever shapes they wish.

  • Construction paper/ felt

Monster Art

The children will paint using a fork to create texture for their monster. They will glue on as many eyes as they like a mouth to make their monster unique.

  • Paper
  • Construction paper/ felt
  • Googly eyes
  • Glue

Tape Painting

Take a plain canvas board for this activity and have the children place tape in different directions and shapes. Then, they will paint on the canvas over the tape. Once the paint is dry, carefully peel the tape off and see your completed design.

Materials:

  • Canvas Board
  • Painter’s tape/ masking tape
  • Paint/paintbrush
  • Let the paint dry and then peel off the tape
